When you create an account, we collect your full name, email address, and the name of your packaging store. You also create a password that is securely hashed and stored by our authentication provider.

Store & Operational Data

To provide our packaging optimization services, we collect and store information about your store operations, including box inventory dimensions and specifications, packaging material pricing, DIM weight divisor settings, void fill cost configurations, and employee roles and permissions you configure.

Packaging Transaction Logs

Each time the BoxIntel OS packaging engine is used, we record the item dimensions, weight, and fragility level entered; the box selected or recommended; calculated metrics such as DIM weight, billable weight, void percentage, and efficiency scores; pricing breakdowns for the transaction; and which employee performed the operation.

Demo & Contact Requests

If you submit a demo request or contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and company name.

Automatically Collected Information

We may collect standard technical information such as browser type, device information, and general usage patterns to maintain and improve the platform. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, operate, and maintain the BoxIntel OS platform and its packaging intelligence features. Process your box selection queries and deliver optimized recommendations. Manage your account, store configuration, and employee access. Generate packaging analytics and performance reports for your store. Process payments and manage your subscription through our payment provider. Respond to demo requests, support inquiries, and customer service communications. Send important service-related notices such as subscription updates or security alerts. Improve and develop new features for the platform based on aggregate usage patterns.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

Service Providers

We use trusted third-party services to operate our platform. Supabase provides our database infrastructure and user authentication. Stripe processes subscription payments. These providers access only the data necessary to perform their services and are bound by their own privacy commitments.

Within Your Store

Store owners and administrators can view packaging logs, analytics, and employee activity within their own store. Employees can only access data permitted by the role and permissions assigned to them.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BoxIntel OS, our users, or the public.

We take the security of your data seriously. Our platform employs Row Level Security (RLS) on all database tables, ensuring that users can only access data belonging to their own store. Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text. All data is transmitted using HTTPS encryption. Access is controlled through role-based permissions that store owners configure.

While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your information using commercially reasonable safeguards.

We retain your account and store data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Packaging transaction logs are retained to support your analytics and reporting needs. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.

You may update your account information at any time through the Store Settings page. Store owners can manage employee accounts, including deactivating access. You can request a copy of your stored data or request deletion of your account by contacting us at the email address below. If you are located in a jurisdiction with specific data protection laws (such as the GDPR or CCPA), you may have additional rights including the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal data.

BoxIntel OS is a business-to-business platform designed for packaging store operations. It is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or a notice within the platform. Your continued use of BoxIntel OS after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
